Reluctantly selling my lovely little 1974 MK1 Ford Escort 1600 4 Door (Shaven doors). Driver door opens with a popper solenoid.
This is a south African import, bought to the UK in 2024, all fully UK registered. Car is rust free benefitting from living in the dry climate most of its life. Has been stored in a dry garage since arriving in the UK.
Car has an original Kent 1600 engine with 40 Weber DCOE side drafts mated to a 5spd Sierra gearbox.
Front windows are electric. Bluetooth/ usb retro style radio.
Selling due to a need to downscale the collection for finance reasons, otherwise would be keeping it myself.
Drives amazingly for a 50 year old car with an original engine.
New battery recently fitted.
