Offered for sale is my 1987 Ford Escort RS Turbo.
I have owned the car since 2003 and have driven it sparingly in that time, covering only 300 miles.
It has always been garaged in my ownership and only driven in dry conditions.
EXTERIOR/ INTERIOR
The car presents well and has benefited from a recent machine polish.
The majority of paint work i believe to be original, with no visible bubbling or surface corrosion.
Rear bumper has recently been resprayed to address scuff on passenger side corner.
There is some light bubbling under the bonnet and around the engine bay but nothing serious.
The car sits on its original alloy wheels, including the spare, all in good condition.
Tyres were replaced four years ago and still have plenty tread.
Inside, the factory-fitted Recaro seats are in excellent condition, with only light creasing to the driver's side bolster.
The dashboard and centre console are free from cracks, and the original interior trim remains intact and tidy.
An aftermarket radio has been fitted, along with speakers mounted in the parcel shelf.
Everything works as it should, including the electric windows in which one of the switches has recently been replaced.
MECHANICAL
The engine runs well with no oil leaks.
A significant amount of recent maintenance was carried out on 11/ 07/ 2025, including:
* New timing belt and tensioner
* Water pump
* Stainless steel fuel pump bracket fitted
