Tow pack with 7 pin electrics. LED lighting. 2” Old Man Emu lift kit, Gwyn Lewis wide-angle front prop shaft. 5x Black Modular wide-offset steel wheels with 265/ 75R16 AT tyres. Steering and diff guards. Recently serviced with MoT until 11th May 2026.
Description:
This particular 110 is a ‘Utility Station Wagon’ model finished in the lovely Indus Silver. This model offers seating for up to five people plus plenty of cargo making for a very versatile vehicle. At somepoint in its life it has been fitted with standard station wagon spec windows in the rear panels, but seats have never been fitted. The top of the range ‘XS’ specification includes many extras such as the colour coded wheel arches and contrast roof, part leather interior along with heated front seats, factory fitted immobiliser/ alarm system, electric front windows, Air-Con and an ABS/ TC system.
The vehicle has recently had a bit of a ‘freshen up’ including a full external respray and full service. We’re told the engine was replaced like for like with one with circa 90, 000 miles on the clock due to a terminal issue with the original. It starts, runs and drives well with no untoward noises and pulls very nicely indeed. The gearbox, high and low gears, difflock and clutch all work as they should, and the brakes work well bringing it up to a stop nice and straight. There is the usual Puma transmission ‘clunk’ when taking up drive, but nothing out of the ordinary. The ride is very good thanks to the Australian-quality Old Man Emu springs and dampers, which also has the benefit of a 2” lift for additional ground clearance when heading off road.
Underneath, the chassis is very solid and rust free, having been undersealed at some point, and the bulkhead and footwells are also nice tidy. A steering guard and diff guards protect the vulnerable bits from altercations with the terrain. The bodywork is nice and straight having had a freshen up with new paint… It’s not the best paint job in the world but is nice and presentable and perfect for a workhorse.
The interior is also very tidy for the age; there is the odd sign of wear and tear but again is very useable. The front footwells are fitted with ‘hose out’ rubber matting, and from there back is fully carpeted. Everything works as it should, electrical or otherwise, including the Alpine head unit which has FM/ USB/ Bluetooth etc.
The odometer currently reads 136, 470 miles, which we would believe to be genuine and is backed up by the MoT and service history, but cannot warrant ourselves. The vehicle has recently received a clean MoT, valid until 11th May 2026. A hydraulic bottle jack and wheel brace are included inside the seat box compartment, and paperwork wise there is the V5C, online LR service history and a HPI check.
This ‘proper’ Defender is ready to be used, enjoyed and put to work on a multitude of tasks, whether it be on the farm, shoot, towing heavy trailers or just taking the kids to school! If you require any additional accessories or changes to the vehicle, get in touch!
