Description
1 of 150 Limited Edition Defender Works V8 – 70th Anniversary Edition
This Defender Works V8 is one of 150 vehicles produced globally to celebrate Land Rover’s 70th anniversary. Finished in Corris Satin Grey with a contrasting black roof, it stands out as one of only a handful in this colour.
The Works V8 project was launched in 2018 by Land Rover Classic in the UK. Each vehicle was originally a late-model Defender, carefully dismantled and rebuilt to an exceptional standard. The transformation included fitting a 5. 0-litre V8 petrol engine producing 403 hp (sourced from the Range Rover), paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. Performance upgrades also included Bilstein and Eibach suspension, 18-inch Saw Tooth alloy wheels with larger tyres, and an Alcon high-performance braking system.
Interior features include:
* Full leather trim in Ebony
* Recaro sports seats
* Air conditioning
* ABS with ETC and DSC (a rare option on the final Defenders)
* Central locking
* Electric windows
* Winter package
* Aluminium door handles
* Jaguar Land Rover Classic infotainment system with Bluetooth and navigation
Each vehicle was painted in one of six exclusive colours. This example, in Corris Satin Grey, is particularly rare. The interior was completely re-imagined with high-grade leather and premium detailing.
All 150 units sold out rapidly following the project’s announcement, and each left-hand drive model destined for mainland Europe was supplied with TÜV certification and new registration documents, issued by Jaguar Land Rover UK.
This particular vehicle was originally registered to a buyer in Germany and remains in outstanding, collector-grade condition.
