Description
Unfortunately, I have taken the painful decision to sell my 1971 Karmann Ghia coupe that I have owned for the last 20 years.
During that period it has only clocked up miles, with mileage of 77k
Prior to owning our car, it underwent a major refurbishment with a complete strip down of all body parts, paintwork down to bare metal and we have the receipts for thousands. Also photos of the restoration can be seen if required. I have not used this car very much for the last 10 years what with children and life getting in the way.
The car has been garaged the whole time and has only got wet when I have cleaned it and has never been driven in the rain.
The paintwork is a lovely Calypso red and is in very good condition for its age, although there are some scratches and marks on the body and interior. It is a real head turner and get nice comments whenever I drive it. Always been MOT’d every year apart from the last two years, as hardly driven it. I have never had any major issues with the car and drives lovely. Current mileage is 77k.
Just had new shock absorbers, brake calipers, engine fuel hose and filter with work carried out by Bakersfield Classics (£1. 5K) and is running like a dream.
