Hi, time has come to let my beloved 156 gta go, i have owned this car since july 2010. Recently the car has had a full floor and body restoration and its been stored away since September 2024 as the crankshaft pulley has started to wobble in a early stage of the the part needing to be replaced, the car is currently off the road no M. O. T and tax, i spent nearly 15k on the car in 2024 with a full body restoration all arches metal worked and a full respray in Alfa Romeo Competition Red and 90% new floor being sealed and treated, i also customised alot of the outside parts aswell as in door handles, grilles, badges etc... my intention was to keep the car forever as ive had 15 years with it and lots of memories but a new car and the fact that i have not got to space to keep it just sitting there not being used is not practical and i know the more you use these cars they better they run
Now to what needs to done to the car to put it back on the road;
Cranshaft Pulley, solid ones can be brought from AHM Motorsports around £350
Main Coolant hose needs replacing, i have all the coolants hoses OEM and will come with the car
needs a full service, cam belt & tensionars were done in 2020, it has done nowhere near 30, 000 miles in that time but might be worth while doing?
fuel tank straps need replacing, i have the straps (new) and will be given with the car
it needs around 2-3k spending on it which at the moment i cant afford to do but when serviced and other things done this is a very special car that i think would be worth around 13-14k and this is why im letting it go cheap after all the money spent on it last year, it would be great if it went to another alfaholic to give it the little TLC it needs.
any potential buyer would have to trailer it away even though the car is fully running and ticking over nicely, i advise not to drive until crankshaft pulley is sorted

full engine strut bar, rear upper boot strut bar as well but never fitted
Alfaholics down-pipes
Prowler decat section very expensive and rare, never failed M. O. T either with this part
BNC custom rear section and back box, tailpipes are slight bigger that original but look exactly the same, looks awesome
Front grilles wrapped in carbon
Satin black door handles and wing mirror base plates, handles were taken off and cleaned then sprayed and lacquered satin black so no more faded chrome, the whole car has been dechromed and looks so much better.
B pillars sprayed in satin black, no more dodgy stickers
Comp red calipers
Autodelta anniversary stickers lacquered into paint, a little nod to when the restoration was done
Engine rocker covers in textured black paint
Plenum chamber and engine cover in red
Front subframe and water pipe brackets powder coated in black
90% new floor, sealed and treated
Full body restoration now in comp red
Custom painted bronze jetfins
interior fascia panel and door surrounds have been carbon dipped
Interior is in fantastic condition with only real wear to drivers seat, back seats are like new
probably missed a few things as so much has been done to car over the years
Again this is a very reluctant sale, pictures dont do the car justice it has to bee seen in the flesh it looks and sounds amazing and drives like a car that has done half the mileage thats on it, ive always had alfa's and been around a lot of gta's and never heard one sound as nice as mine, im a true alfa nut and love these cars the car was always serviced once a year regardless if it needing doing or not and has been replaced with another alfa
