Description

Hi, due to having too many classic cars, I am reluctantly selling this one as I am running out of space, and I can’t drive them all.
Here we have my Jaguar MK2 in very good condition for its age.
It left the UK in 2020 and went out to Malta for a couple of years.
Prior to leaving the UK its former owner spent some 28k on the vehicle bringing it up to a good level. Most of the parts were purchased from SNG Barrett in Shropshire.

Since I brought it back, I have had to have some paintwork done on both sides because in Malta the roads are very narrow and the old fella couldn't drive. haha. Just scratching, nothing major.
It is a 1969. Finished in the original combination of Blue with Grey interior.
This is an extremely well cared for car with lots to offer, and plenty of good extra's.
Ticking all the boxes having been fitted with the following extras: ,
Twin cooling fans on a switch, Overdrive, Power assisted Steering and Chrome Wire Wheels, a light weight clutch and stainless steel exhaust.
It has a new high powered starter motor that spins over very quickly.
The Interior was revamped to a very high standard, at the same time the car was restored.
It has been dry stored in a heated garage since it has been restored.
This car is apparently a 340 body with a very powerful 3. 8 engine.
I believe it has had the 3. 8 engine fitted retro as it is a more powerful engine.

It is a historic vehicle and is ready for it's new owner to enjoy.
It is MOT and Tax exempt, and cost me only £82 the insure for a year.
I Have no history with the car as the old chap lost it when he moved.
But when you get a car like this that has been fully restored, you get what you see.
I had is shipped back and have only used it a few times. it drives well with lots of power.
The stainless steel exhaust system cost of over 3k, and the walnut steering wheel cost over a thousand pounds.
It has a battery isolator that is great when your not using it regular.
Anyone interested in the car is more than welcome to come and view.
It is highly recommended you do this before you bid.
It certainly gets plenty of looks where ever it goes.
Many thanks in advance.
found this on the website. I don't know if this is how the car was built, or whether it is one of these. On the log book, it has got 340 model, and engine size is 3781cc. Thanks very much. The gentleman I bought it from in Malta was 78 years old and was unable to drive the car so he had power steering put on the vehicle to help him drive it, this is a massive plus for the car.
He also had a light weight clutch put on it, as his hip was bad, and was unable to drive it.
So, the reason I bought it was because he needed a hip operation and couldn't drive it, so he sold me the car.
I purchased it from him in 2023 and brought it back to the UK.
