Aston Martin DB6 Mk2. Matching numbers.
Delivered to H W Motors on the 17/ 3/ 70 4229/ R 400/ 4555 finished in Silver Birch with deep red Leather.
Sold to its first car enthusiast owner, who then retained the Aston using it sparingly for 40 years until 2010.
As a result of his passing. the DB6 was purchased by its second owner, forming part of a collection covering very few miles, over many years.
I am the third owner and had had the Aston fully recommissioned by an Aston specialist. The DB6
having covered a mere 38187 miles from new.
There is a thick detailed history file of every receipt from new including the original bill of sale.

A full underside and engine bay clean, including the fuel tank.
New Fuel pump.
New Aluminium radiator in black fitted with a cooling fan.
Carburettor’s stripped and rebuilt.
All hoses replaced where required.
New handbrake cable.
Full lubrication service.
4 New Avon radials of the correct spec with new rim bands and Michelin inner tube's, recently carried out by R S Williams ( the Aston had a major overhaul by Williams in 2009 and has covered only 750 since then )
The electric windows, interior and door lights are all operating correctly.
The original carpets and headlining are as new.
The original chrome fire extinguisher is present, as is the under bonnet insulation which is very rare.
The DB6 has an Amazing patina of age and Is surely unique., having now covered some 650 miles in the last year.
Complete with the original hand book, sales brochure and workshop manual.
Agreed value insurance at £235k in place.
