I have sold this car, trying to update the advert but can’t figure out how to do this…
This is my deceased partners pride and joy that he bought 2 years ago, she “Gloria” named after his mum, who taught him to drive in an estate version. Sadly John died suddenly in February from Cancer. So some of the back story, Gloria hadn’t been MOT’d since 2009 and was bought from Chevronix in Hertfordshire from a private collection of one of their customers and had been slowly brought back to life. There has been no expense spared, there has been a lot of work by our local garage “Salters” to get her to run smoothly, body work is sound, having just been put through her Mot, and had a lot of welding to get her through the Mot, she is except due to her age. I have priced the car to show the work that has been done. I know that over the £16, 500 has been spent on this car, including a new petrol tank, I have receipts for all of the work carried out apart from the fuel tank, so feel it reasonable to ask for at least some of this for the sale of the car, the private plate is not for sale and will go back to its original plate, which I can do immediately she is sold, sadly I do not have the time to keep this car on the road and feel she needs to go to and enthusiast who will love her. This is a very rare car with a very small number still on the road and drives beautifully. I recently went out for a spin to Exmouth and we completed a memorial run recently to say goodbye to John as well as several long journeys to various car events. Gloria is currently garaged at home and is available for viewing and of course a drive. I look forward to hearing from you, feel free to make me a reasonable offer as close to the asking price.
