1960 'Frogeyed' Sprite. I purchased the car in April 24 and have enjoyed it immensely in that short time, but it's simply not getting driven enough, so it has to go.
The car was fully rebuilt by its previous owner having been imported from America in 2016 (it is UK registered with a heritage certificate). The build was completed in Aug 21 and the car has covered just 1500 miles since. The previous owner provided a comprehensive build file with the car detailing all the work carried out, below is a snapshot.
1275 engine, fully rebuilt and skimmed, with new pistons, valves etc, rebuilt carbs, reconditioned gearbox, frontline dampers, new wheels and tyres, new brakes (discs at front), maniflow exhaust, bare metal respray over epoxy rustbuster primer, renewed interior, new wiring loom, new hood, tonneau etc.
It is a genuinely lovely little car and a joy to drive, it needs to be enjoyed. It's recently been serviced, all ready for its new home........
