1979 Series 1 with 5 speed manual box. 110k miles.
I have owned this car since May 2023 and have undertaken extensive refurbishment and modifications.
Originally supplied by AFN Guildford on the 6th July 1979. Just 3 former keepers, all local to me near Cranleigh, Surrey. Cost of refurbishment works circa £30k. Originally delivered as a 3 speed auto, the car was converted to 5 speed manual by Paul Anderson of 928 Specialists in Stroud. The complete transaxle was swapped for a rebuilt unit from an ’89 GT which includes an LSD. Rebuilt drive shafts, new Bilstein B6 sport dampers and springs, all bushes, track rod ends, wheel bearings, ball joints, brake hoses, oil cooler pipes. New clutch, master cylinder and feed lines, throttle cable, fuel hoses, brake discs and pads, radiator, thermostat, water pump, oil breather pipes. Phone dial wheels with new tyres all round, 4 wheel alignment. Factory original exhaust sourced from America. Black leather dash with blue pasha inserts. Complete original interior including luggage net, spare wheel and jack. Factory Air conditioning recently converted to R134a and overhauled with new compressor, drier and gaskets
