There is a full and detailed photographic record of the restoration process which clearly shows the extent of the work carried out - simply no stone was left unturned. A bespoke restoration presentation box will come with the E-type, containing a detailed record of all the work carried out/ invoices and a USB memory stick containing hundreds of photos of the restoration as work progressed.

A proverbial barn find early June 1962 Series 1 3. 8 Jaguar E-type Fixed Head Coupe, the one to have. Very little used from 1989 apart from annual trips to a local MOT station.

During the extensive restoration process suitable, subtle, and discreet upgrades were installed i. e. electronic ignition, uprated ignition coil, high torque starter, dynator, uprated heater fan motor, aluminium radiator, silicone hoses, silicone brake fluid, stainless steel bulkhead pipes, electronic cooling fan, stainless steel exhaust system, refurbished 4. 2 Jaguar E-type full synchromesh gearbox (Original matching numbers Moss gearbox available), rear differential refurbished, heated Triplex rear screen with appropriate original style interior switch, quick release steering wheel boss, hidden electronic immobiliser, period Radiomobile radio with aux and internal aerial, front and rear cameras, LED lighting, matching removable storage box/ arm rest as per E-type 4. 2’s, electronic fuel pump, improved/ modern rear main bearing seal, high capacity oil pump (Great oil pressure) and spin off oil filter.
Original colour/ s were opalescent maroon with black interior, changed to opalescent gunmetal grey with maroon interior.
All glass Triplex branded.
Complete period Jaguar toolkit and early (‘Patent applied for’) jack.
Full matching tailored boot floor carpet and spare set of unused tailored footwell mats.

I believe that to buy a donor E-type and to restore one to this standard would easily cost over £200, 0000 plus.
The fully rebuilt original engine/ cylinder head has been run in correctly and running in oil/ filter changed as appropriate.
The E-type still has its original data plate and body tag.
The E-type drives very well, everything works, with no rattles or squeaks and wonderfully she has no oil leaks! Even the time clock works due to an electronic upgrade.
The E-type is also protected by a professionally installed full body paint protection film (PPF) treatment.
The E-type is in Guernsey, Channel Islands - a three hour ferry ride from Poole, or a thirty minute flight from Southampton/ under a one hour flight from Gatwick.
She has just had her first 12 months service, ‘spannering up’, greasing and check over.
