1951 RMA CFB 877. Full story of its rebuild in Practical Classics 2017-2022 (pdfs available). Recent work includes new rear springs, full brake overhaul, toasty heater fitted, flashers and hazards as well as trafficators, LED bulbs & rear lights, new clutch, rebuilt carb, electric rad fan. A myriad of other items sorted, too many to list.
It came to me with s/ s exhaust, new loom, electronic regulator, new Michelins & tubes, new carpets, engine stripped & rebuilt incl. big ends by Formalls, extensive bodywork repairs, new roof, new shockers, recored rad. Good oil pressure. Interior looks its age but nicely original.
It will never win prizes, but it runs well having completed Club events and a trip to the NEC and back.
Priced to sell @ £4750. Just might consider cheap & cheerful Morris Minor or even spare parts for Morris Minor as I have an ongoing project. Known history since 1972. I am thoroughly enjoying driving this but its replacement hovers in the wings, so I could do with freeing up some parking space.
