Matching numbers engine, gearbox and chassis. Superb condition both inside and out, no rust whatsoever. All instruments and gauges fully operational, Electronic ignition, high torque starter motor, stainless exhaust and new brake servo installed for peace of mind and smooth running. Chrome in very good condition. Full history of vehicle from 1st owner to my ownership being the 5th. Only selling to reduce my collection as I do not get to use it enough and this car deserves to be driven.

The Appeal
The Series 2 2+2 brought together a raft of improvements to the original E-Type to make these later cars more usable and comfortable than their predecessors. Most went overseas, which explains why cars like this Signal Red 1969 car registered in RHD (not converted) here in the UK are quite rare
It is a great find for E-Type enthusiasts. The vendor describes it as highly original and tells us that there is “no rust whatsoever.” We’re told it is a matching numbers example - rare for a Series 2 2+2 car - and it has been with the current keeper since 2018.
The car is said to run and drive well. The Series 2 is the E-Type for those who like to use their Jaguar icons, and this very genuine example looks ready to enjoy.
