Description
Unfortunately having acquired another piece of motoring history, and finding myself short of both the room and spare time, I am having to find a new home for JWF240.
Having bought the RMB in April 2021
after being off the road for some years, a reasonable amount of work was carried out to get the car back on the road, thankfully due to a very supportive owners club and good supply of new spares.
Work carried out included the fitting of a full stainless steel exhaust, a new exhaust manifold, replacement of brake flexi hoses, belts, rad hoses and heater hoses etc, a new voltage regulator, A. C electric fuel pump, electronic ignition, a reconditioned dynamo, reconditioned starter motor and more recently, new headlights, side light/ indicator conversions, new wheel cylinders to both sides and a set of Avon Tourists.
Although running and driving the car is really in need of restoration/ possibly even break as great source of parts.
The engine and gearbox seem to be in good order as the car has seen recent use.
The interior is in very useable original condition although headlining tatty in places. Leather holding up very well for its age.
The body work will need some attention in some areas as will the ash.
As listed above, lots spent on parts.
Priced to sell.
£3500 onoUsed occasionally until recently.
This car is a running and driving but in need of restoration. I have driven many enjoyable miles in this car over the years.
