Description
This 1979 Renault R5 Le Car is white with a red vinyl interior. It is equipped with a 1. 3-litre inline-four engine paired to a four-speed manual gearbox.
It features 13-inch alloy wheels painted red, a red Le Car badge, a front spoiler, front bucket seats, an aftermarket AM/ FM/ cassette radio and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The cylinder head has been rebuilt and the water pump, belts, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and leads were replaced in 2018 by the previous owner. The fuel level sensor is out of service and rust is visible in the engine bay. The car is believed to have resided in Tennessee, United States, with its first and second owners, before being transferred to France in 2019, when I acquired it.
