1941 Ford super deluxe. Four door. LH DRIVE...
Very original. Flat head V8. Runs like a dream. 12v conversion done by Jim at Royal customs. Stromberg carburettor, electronic ignition and coil with leads and plugs. Dynomator alternator. All very in keeping aesthetically. Starts on the button every time.
Good radial tyres ( crossply look alikes) less than 500 miles.
Electric wiper motor. Few minor blemishes on the body work but no rust. Lanosealed underneath. Head lining good . Rest of interior is average for the age. We Drove to France for 80th anniversary of D day without any issues. Used regularly. Open to sensible offers.
UPDATE.. JUST BEEN TO NORMANDY FOR A WEEK WITH IT, DIDN'T MISS A BEAT. FANTASTIC.
Another update... two new waterpumps fitted along with front engine mounts.
This model was only manufactured for one year due to the attack on pearl harbour which saw Ford stop the manufacturing to concentrate on the war effort
Very few four door models around.
Originally imported to the UK by the previous owner.
