Solid example of this FFR series 3 lightweight.
Not used as much as I would like and also moving so very reluctant sale. I did all the things that needed doing and have replaced water pump, fuel pump, starter motor and fuel lines and has been running great.
Only done 31k miles as when it was released from service it went to Selsey lifeboat station, then to IOW. I picked up several years ago at about 25k miles.
The engine on this one is great and compared to friends and others I have driven this one can actually get to 70mph but rarely go above 50 as nice to cruise and when I most use it is in summer with roof off, windscreen down, doors off.
It has a new exmoor trim roof and door cards. I have a service kit but not yet completed this but may do before I sell.
Just about to put a new starter motor on as actually bought a new one from Paddocks and is sometimes sticking so sending it back and will put a new one on.
Chassis and bulkhead is solid. Paintwork could be better as has brush marks.
I have mislaid the two aerials but if I can find I will add.
There is an ammunition box in back which has lock and found useful to keep spares, tools or valuables. I have a home made bikini canopy which I cut down from the old full cover.

Bits I would do if keeping
-tidy up some rust on doors and paint better
-drive it more
Thanks for lookingA very usable classic which can be improved or kept as is. I love the adaptability, 7 people, fully stripped back for summer days, beach trips, gardening, prom / wedding car, had so much fun with this over the years. Easy to maintain and looks amazing.
