Affectionately known as Yippee (due to number plate ending YPH), this lovely car has been in my family for 37 years! It is with a very heavy heart that I look to sell it, but it's just not getting the use it deserves.
Very special car that has been well used and loved! Extremely fun to drive, especially in the warmer seasons with the roof down and the windows clipped up. Always turns heads and produces smiles from drivers, passengers and observers alike!
Comes with various bits and bobs you might need (trickle charger, can of paint for touching up wheels, new mudflaps) as well as spare wheel.
This was our everyday car in the 90s/ 2000s (when it had a galvinised chassis fitted), then was SORN in a garage for much of the 2000s/ 10s. I inherited it in 2020, when it underwent a fair bit of restoration including bodywork, full respray and extensive servicing (paperwork all kept).
I have MOT and service history 2020-2025, with a fair bit of historic paperwork too. It is tax and MOT exempt, but kept in good working order since its last MOT April 2025.
The main paintwork looks pretty good standing back, though there are some imperfections the closer you get. Back two doors have some rust and will need replacing at some point. There is also a small hole in the exhaust manifold that eventually could do with replacing (having said that I have successfully kept this ticking over for the last couple of years with exhaust tape). Fuel gauge is also a bit patchy at times.
