Lotus Elan S4 DHC 1969
I spent a long time looking for this car for my 70th birthday, and purchased in February 2022,
It is a late 1990’s Mick Miller Rebuild from a FHC, to the then owners own specification, new S4 DHC bodyshell, having had a new Lotus chassis previously, colour coded bumpers, no brake servo, only a black bonnet badge, no ashtray, black leather trim.
Last year I did less than 50 miles in it as I have other cars.
Mick Miller really did a great job and it is really well bolted together,
Even though it's an older restoration the fibreglass body has stood up really well, the front bumper would benefit from a respray and there are a couple of really minor signs of gelcoat cracks under the paintwork
