Description
Experience elegance and performance with this rare Talbot-Lago T14 Barquette, a unique piece of automotive history!
Assembled in the 1980s by Dominique and Marc Dupont, enthusiasts and connoisseurs, this Talbot-Lago T14 was designed on an original chassis acquired after the marque's demise in 1959. Its bold styling draws inspiration from the cars that competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1956, with a bespoke alloy-bodied coachwork, finished in an elegant gunmetal grey by Christophe Ladrière.
A characterful mechanicals: equipped with a 2, 476 cm³ BMW V8 engine, tuned to meet era requirements, paired with a 4-speed ZF manual gearbox. The car combines power, reliability and thrills, while retaining a look inspired by the great names of 1950s motorsport.
A refined and functional aesthetic: integrated headlights, side air intakes, domed bonnet, 16-inch silver-spoked wheels, finned drum brakes, and a sporty interior with beige fabric bucket seats, four-point harness, dashboard with Jaeger instruments. The car is fitted with a panoramic windscreen, 'bullet' mirrors and numerous period details underscoring its unique character.
A rich and authenticated history: this Talbot-Lago was purchased from a French collector, with documented history between 2012 and 2014, and carries a French registration dating from 1956. It shows around 7, 200 km on the odometer, of which only part has been covered by the current owner.
A rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts: this Talbot-Lago T14, fully restored and ready to hit the road, is a unique collecting piece, marrying historic heritage, exceptional design and driving pleasure.
