Volkswagen T2 Splitscreen Ambulance Campervan
Registration: EDV 206C
1 previous owner, I'm the 2nd owner and have owned the van for the past 20 years.

General:
Original right hand drive splitscreen ambulance imported from South Africa. Converted to a general van with seats that can also be used as a camper. Most mechanical parts replaced or reconditioned over the years. Mileage shown on speedo believed to be correct, 33k miles (Was an ambulance on a mine in S. A.).

Body solid underneath due to original undersealing.
The upper part of bodywork needs some ongoing restoration work. Major rear quarters work has been completed. Multiple body areas requiring attention, lower body, window frames, tail gate, etc. For amount of work see photo's or better still come and inspect the van. Nearside sill and window repair panels included. New windscreen rubber seals included. The body will need repainting. Have a file of receipts for most of the parts.

Engine & Gearbox:
1600cc twinport engine built from new parts by Auto Techniks.
Twin 34 ICT Carbs, fuel pressure regulator & filter.
Vintage Speed performance exhaust muffler.
Pertronix distributor electronic ignition module.
Gearbox and reduction boxes reconditioned by Cogbox

Suspension:
Front beam fitted with lowering adjusters by Auto Techniks.
Raised steering column conversion by Auto Techniks.
Reconditioned steering box and column by N2 engineering.

Brakes & Wheels:
Twin circuit master cylinder.
Fellows Speed Shop Wilwood front disk brakes.
CSP five spoke alloy wheels (5. 5" wide x 15" dia.) with coated black centres.
185 x 65 x15 tyres.

Exterior / Bodywork:
6 Creative engineering pop-out aluminium frames and glass.
Creative Engineering SS quarter light frames and other SS front window parts.
Autowares stainless steel wing mirrors.
NOS rear door/ engine lid cross member.
Autocraft rear quarters, rear valance & battery tray
Alan Schfield engine lid.
Cut out and weld in rear quarters, cross member and battery tray by Auto Techniks.
Original siron fitted, but not connected.

Interior:
Custom made wood storage cabient/ cupboard and overhead shelf.
Creative Engineering rock and roll rear seat / bed.
Front seats reupholstered and rear seat / rock and roll bed upholstered to match.
Head lining and trim replaced, plus felt sound deadening added underneath.
Internal overhead metal air metal duct shortened to front cab area.
Table, sliding rail and adjustable Leg.
Autocraft wheel arch mats and Madmax front floor mat.
ABS plastic sheet door panels.
Modern seat belts fitted (front 2 full + 1 lap) and (rear 2 lap).
Leather rim steering wheel fitted.
Vintage Speed short throw gearstick.
6 Geek Shack magnetic blackout window screens.
Removable locking steering bar anti-theft device included.

Electrical:
New electrical switches and VDO tach, oil pressure and temp. gauges.
New bayanet fuse box and some wiring modifications.
Electric windscreen washer system.
Stero radio/ CD player with custom made speaker boxes.
Original ambulance fans working (one speed only).
