After a lot of soul searching I have decided to sell my 1959 Series One Humber Super Snipe. I am losing some of my secure storage very soon but the main reason is that my wife is very poorly and in a nursing home. I own several classic vehicles but my enthusiasm just isn't there anymore.
I have owned the Snipe since 2015 and used it for a few weddings and classic car shows. Sadly it has been stored away for a fair while and is currently on SORN.
It has the three-speed column change gearbox - with Laycock De Normanville overdrive. It also has an unleaded cylinder head and stainless steel exhaust.
My intention is to have the car thoroughly checked over soon by a highly regarded classic car mechanic. A new mot test will be done also.
I will be selling the Humber with a very heavy heart as I always wanted one. Due to the excellent response to this listing the price shown is now fixed. The car will be sold with a comprehensive history file.
