Completely solid, lovely floor, lovely underneath, galvanised chassis, great paintwork and beautiful interior, there are some small blemishes and imperfections of course to be expected.
This car has spent more time off the road than on the road, hence the low mileage. It's believed the 42k mileage was acquired during its first 10 years of life, then it spent the late 90s early 2000's off the road. It was given a big restoration by 2cv City in 2008 including a new galvanised chassis (receipts available) it was then sold a couple more times but ended up tucked away in a garage for at least 15 years, so when I purchased this car, it was given a huge mechanical recommission, no expense spared.
I used a local 2cv specialist, who spent a year going through absolutely everything top to bottom, almost everything was replaced, including some smart upgrades like electronic ignition, reverse light, fog light, brand new deluxe roof and sunshade from Matts Soft Tops, new Toyo tyres, discs, pads, alternator, fuel tank, there's too much to type here, but the full list of works is in pictures, along with expenses.
This has the rare but period correct hatchback conversion (very handy)
