My Mk1 RS recreation started off with a rust free shell. The type 49 strengthening brackets were added to strut tops, inner wings and anti tramp bars ect....
It was then painted in Lemans Green. The underside was also painted Lemans Green and still looks excellent.
The engine is a 2. 0 ltr pinto with twin webers, it has a competition tabular manifold with a 2 1/ 4 inch exhaust. Electric fan.
The running gear is all RS including the Gearbox with quick shift, bellhousing, sump, rear axle, diff and propshaft.
Front suspension is Bilsteins with RS lowered springs and on the rear is single leafs with Gaz shocks.
The interior has recovered GT style seats. The dash has RS clocks.
The wheels and tyres are in new condition.
It has central locking and is alarmed.
Recently serviced with new oil, filter, plugs and timing belt.
There's a file of receipts and some photos of the shell being prepped. I've owned this car for 3 years, all the work was done prior to me buying it. I'd always wanted one and the condition of this one really stood out. I'm unfortunately selling this car along with a few other classics as I'm losing my storage space.
