Hello is my 1957 Ford Popular 103E
I've owned the car for 10 years but with owning other classic cars it isn't get used as much anymore so it's time for a new home.
It has been restored in the past before i owned it and it still presents well. I've kept it well maintained and garaged, It's recently had a new 6v battery and a full service as well as all the brakes checked and a new Coverdale carpet set, The previous owner fitted a new headlining and vinyl roof. The chassis is excellent and fully treated.
It came from W D Chitty in Diss, Norfolk when new and still has the dealer tag on the door as well as the old buff log book, It's only covered 37000 miles from new which we believe to be genuine.
It's drives and runs very well for what it is although the clutch has started to squeak occasionally, probably from lack of use.
The colour is Wells Fawn which is a beautiful colour in my opinion, and makes a change from black! There are a few little scabs around the edges and the seats would benefit from a refresh as they are still the original ones but it still gets a lot of attention on the road and show field and has won shows in the past.
I've recently upgraded the factory trafficators with modern 6v LED flashing bulbs for safety.
There's lots of old invoices and paperwork, she's a honest old girl, she won't win a race but she'll make lots of friends along the way!
