This Daytona originally formed part of a large collection of Triumph motorcycles and has been in long-term dehumidified storage since 2001. Purchased brand new by a British commercial airline pilot back in July 1999, the bike remained in his possession up until 2021.
Correctly stored with battery removed, oil added to engine cylinders, all fluids replaced on a 2 yearly basis (most recent June 2026), the fuel tank has been kept drained of fuel and the internals coated with metal protect fluid, the fuel lines and carburettors are drained and completely dry of fuel, in addition the carburettor and petrol tap seals have been renewed with genuine Triumph parts.
Extremely original and untouched right down to the factory fitted 98 dated Bridgestone tyres, the overall condition is simply beautiful throughout, surely this is the best example currently available.
Complete with 2 keys, owners folder and under-seat toolkit, please note the machine was last started and run in 2021 using ethanol free fuel (via an auxiliary tank) and is currently on SORN with no MOT.
