Offered for sale is this fabulous 1962 Triumph Vitesse saloon.
A very early example registered in June 1962, only one month into production. It has a genuine mileage of just over 20, 000 miles. It has never been welded or restored and is in exceptional original condition throughout. A collection of paperwork from new supports the mileage and shows how it has been cherished and used sparingly by its previous owners.
In our ownership, we have replaced the gear change remote bushes, rebuilt one of the front brake callipers, replaced all coolant hoses, rebuilt the fuel pump with a new ethanol resistant diaphragm, carried out a full service, replaced the hub cap badges, and given the car some gentle and empathetic cleaning and polishing where needed.
The car has had a comprehensive check over and will be sold with 12 months MOT.
There are areas of patination around the car, but these bolster the sense of uniqueness rather than detract from it. It drives superbly, with everything working just as it should.

This vehicle is being sold by the production company, ITN, in connection with the television series ANT ANSTEAD: BORN MECHANIC currently available to watch on discovery+. It would be a condition of sale that we request the buyer appear on camera, collecting the car from our presenter Ant Anstead in mid-November, after which the car can be taken away. Viewing is welcome at our facility in Market Harborough.
