I am selling a 1962 VOLVO P 1800 JENSEN, white with red interior (same as "LE SAINT" car), matching numbers and colour code, original US car restored since sandblasted hull in 2018 (expert report), seals, mechanics, electrics and wiring harness, suspension, cooling, clutch, hydraulics, upholstery redone identically, chrome, stainless steel bumpers.... neufs.
Work carried out over the past 12 months has cost more than €5, 000: brake calipers, hoses, tank pads and dipstick, suspension silentblocks, shock absorbers, steering box kit, complete electronic ignition, carburettor seals and float kit, numerous chrome parts, complete overhaul, Retrosound car radio: The car runs perfectly: very pleasant engine, very good oil pressure, does not overheat, very good road holding, overdrive OK.
The bodywork has a few minor flaws in the alignment of the doors and the quality of the paintwork is not very good: the car needs to be hinged and some of the interior finishing needs to be redone (rev counter adjustment, improved trim fittings, etc.) in order to have a perfect car.
