Hello,
I am reluctantly selling my Ford Capri Mk1 GT/ XLR 2. 0 L V6, year 1971.
I have owned it for almost two years and have driven very little due to lack of time; it has always been kept in my garage and I have kept it meticulously maintained, original condition apart from a few small aesthetic and functional modifications.
Unrestored car, shell is sound, interior redone, exceptional condition.
Registration document on collector's plate in my name.
Known history and maintenance file with receipts plus the original service book.
Engine replaced by Capri 3 a few years ago by the previous owner (around 30k miles).
Front and rear brakes new,
Electronic ignition and new coil.
Suspension arms with ball joints and master cylinder replaced.
Stainless steel exhaust, dual pipe.
Nice paint; only the bonnet and boot lid are slightly dull, but the shine will return with a good polish; bodywork and underbody solid, two or three small superficial rust spots noted.
Engine and gearbox oil changes recent.
Aluminium wheels PLS 6x13, tyres 205/ 60x13.
This is a very beautiful car that handles well on all distances.
So I am selling it out of necessity and with regret because I have to make quick decisions.
