Hello, here is my Golf Cabriolet 1. 8 GL with automatic transmission. I’ve pampered it for 20 years with my father, who gave it to me 10 years ago. Unfortunately I have to part with it, but I’d like a fellow enthusiast to take care of it in my stead. So I’m presenting it here.
This is an automatic car which is very rare, as few units were produced. It is in very good condition. It features the 1. 8L GL 90 HP engine with the original Weber carburettor; it starts first turn and runs perfectly. The engine was rebuilt about ten years ago and has always been well maintained.
It has 184, 000 km. The hood/ soft top was replaced 10 years ago. I have the original leather hood cover. The seats are fitted with high-quality bespoke covers. It has no rust and the paint was redone a few years ago. It has never been modified and is all original.
