HONDA GL 1000 – 1976
Belonging to the very first generation that gave birth to the legendary Gold Wing lineage, this Honda GL1000 has remained within the same family to this day. Regularly maintained and used for outings with friends, it displays only 46, 780 km since its commissioning in 1976. Kept in its original configuration and still in original paint, it presents a fine appearance and displays a nice patina of use.
A note regarding the "Candy Blue Green Special" colour of this machine, situated between aquamarine and turquoise blue; it is the most difficult to reproduce photographically, rather like inactinic blue. Photo sensors (as well as colour film emulsions in the past) get lost amongst the layers of inked varnish (light grey Candy principle + colour ink) that make up its final visual colour. This shade is superb and far less dull than in the listing images.
