The ‘P4’ family – also known as the ‘Auntie’ Rovers – introduced modern styling and contemporary features to the British brand, while retaining the rear-hinged doors that had been a common feature of pre-war saloon cars. All versions were powered by six-cylinder engines, and the model series was updated over the course of its life. Introduced in 1962, the Rover 110 was the last member of the P4 family and featured a more powerful version of the 2.6-litre engine, thanks to a Weslake cylinder head. It also featured an overdrive gearbox, and steel door panels, which were far more dent-resistant than the alloy items they replaced.
 
The seller of this 1963 example states that they have owned the car since 2024, when they inherited it from a relative, and have stored it in a secure garage since.
 
Outside, the gloss dark blue exterior contrasts nicely with the bright chromework, which appears to be complete. The seller reports a scratch/scuff on the right-side rear door. The car has been fitted with a third brake light in rear window, and features a December 1963 tax disc in the windscreen.
 
Inside, the highly original interior features light blue leather seats and white headlining, with some age-related marks and signs of wear. The wooden dashboard top and door surround appear to be complete, as do all items if trim such as the grab straps for rear-seat passengers. The seller states that a modern (though period-correct in appearance) radio and reversing camera have been fitted.
 
Under the bodywork, the chassis and powertrain are well-presented, and the seller states that the car “starts first time and is very nice and very comfortable, to drive”.
