The 12 cars that MG campaigned at Florida’s famous Sebring circuit are the stuff of legend - and innumerable replicas. What sets a good replica apart, and this car is definitely that, is the specification and the level of detail applied to the work. The Sebring makeover was performed by a professional restoration company who owned the car and

Alongside the engine work, the braking system features grooved and drilled front discs, an uprated servo, and stainless steel braided lines, while the suspension has been lowered and stiffened with uprated dampers and a full polybush kit. The gearbox and overdrive have both been rebuilt. The aesthetics have been done very well, with a wide Sebring body kit, a de-bumpered look, and an appropriate green-and-yellow colour scheme. With its elevated mechanical specification, this car could have gone in a firm track-day direction, but what makes it particularly appealing is how usable it is, largely thanks to the very comfortable, retrimmed tan leather interior and its big body colour matched Webasto roof.
