The Appeal
Any car that gets Evo’s nod of approval, deserves serious attention. In fact, the team waxed lyrical about it, describing it as ‘outstanding’ and possessed of ‘some of the finest dynamics of any mid-engined supercar.’ That the 458 was also Ferrari’s last ever naturally aspirated V8 means that it is a nailed-on future classic.
This 2012 458 Italia eschews the usual Rosso Corsa in favour of an altogether more subtle yet equally Latinate theme, mixing ice white paintwork with a central Tricolore. The paint is protected by a full satin PPF system. Inside there is black leather stitched in white and accented with carbon. It is a highly specified car including carbon LED wheel, Adaptive Frontlight system, factory navigation and the vital nose lift kit.
It is in extremely good condition, helped by the low mileage and the obvious care of its keepers. A quick check of the service book confirms the latter - there are 11 main dealer stamps and then two independent specialist services. The last service was in December 2025. Earlier that year the two new Ferrari OEM radiators were replaced as a precautionary measure. The car will be sold with a fresh MOT - the last one, which ran to February 2026, contained no advisories.
This is a well-specified and well-maintained 458 Italia with pleasingly low mileage. One for the collectors.
The vendor says:
“The car drives like its on rails. Extremely easy and rewarding. Even though the car hasn't been driven that much by myself, it is still a very memorable experience.”

With a car this capable, the trick when buying one is to focus on specifications. This car eschews the more obvious Rosso Corsa in favour of a more subtle and perhaps more tasteful theme, its beautiful Pininfarina lines finished in ice white paintwork, augmented by a satin PPF finish, with a central Tricolore that firmly voices the car’s ‘Italia’ theme. Yellow callipers, dark grey five spokes and, of course, Cavallino Rampant wing shields, complete the picture outside. There are Pirelli PZeros all round, with the rears due to be replaced prior to sale.
Inside, there is a well-specified cabin with Nero black leather stitched white and accented with carbon trim. Optional features like the LED carbon wheel and factory navigation set this 2012 car apart.
Whether inside or out, this is a really well-presented car whose condition looks barely half its age.
The Mechanics
- 4,497cc F136 naturally aspirated 562bhp V8
- 7spd dual clutch semi-automatic transmission
- Full service history with 11 genuine Ferrari main dealer stamps from new
- Serviced by independent specialists in 2024 and December 2025
- Recent health check and in-depth test by The Supercar Tech with very positive feedback
- Both front radiators were recently replaced with brand new genuine parts in March 2025 as preventative maintenance
- Fully stock wen are told with zero current faults reported
- The vendor reports that the car drives very well
- No advisories on current MOT
The shift to different power sources and forced induction means that the 458 Italia is the last naturally aspirated Ferrari V8. And what a way to go out. The 4.5L F136 V8 delivers 562bhp to the rear wheels via Ferrari’s well-regarded 7spd dual clutch semi-automatic gearbox, enough to make the 458 faster to 60 than an AWD Lamborghini and, likely, considerably more exciting.
Beyond specifications and mileage, the key to any Ferrari purchase is provenance in maintenance. This car comes up trumps, the service book showing 11 main dealer stamps before the car was entrusted to independent specialists in 2024 and 2025. The last service was in December last year by The Supercar Tech. We’re told that at the same time, it received a full health check and a depth check. In March last year, the two front radiators were replaced as a precaution using Ferrari OEM items.
The last MOT ran to February 2026 with no advisories. The car will be sold with a fresh test.
