The Renault Clio had already established its hot hatch credentials by the time the third-generation Renault Sport model debuted in 2006, complete with pumped-up front fenders, front and rear splitters and twin exhaust pipes. Its rev-happy two-liter 16-valve engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission, produced more than 200 horsepower when the facelifted model arrived in 2009. The more focused Cup version featured stiffer suspension, red brake calipers and a quicker steering rack, along with a stripped-down interior. The car was a success both on the street and on the track, a testament to its performance and handling prowess.
