Some information for the Honda TLR200
TLR200 JDM 1983/ 84 — Honda Japan released several domestic‑market trials models in the early 1980s that never appeared in export catalogues.
These were not the same as the later TLR200 Reflex (1986–87) sold in the U. S. and some export markets. The JDM 1983–84 bikes were lighter, more competition‑focused, and closer in spirit to the TLR250.
JDM models were typically lighter than the Reflex (which is 90 kg dry).
Exact JDM weights vary by sub‑model but are generally 82–88 kg.
All TLR200 variants use the XR200‑derived 194cc SOHC 2‑valve engine, but:
JDM 83/ 84 engines often had different carb jetting, lighter flywheels, and trials‑specific ignition curves.
Compression ratios varied slightly between early and late models.
JDM 83/ 84 frames had more competition‑oriented geometry, closer to the TLR250.
The Reflex frame (1986–87) is heavier and designed for road equipment.
All TLR200s share the extreme steering lock Honda was famous for, with the bars turning nearly perpendicular to the frame.
The following specs are confirmed for the TLR200 engine/ chassis family and apply directly to the JDM 83/ 84 models unless noted.

We always endeavour to ensure that all mileages are correct as advertised and will state this where possible. With imported vehicles we are not always able to confirm this by contacting previous owners therefore we are unable to completely verify the mileage recorded on the odometer and it must be considered incorrect in these cases.
Delivery possible to all locations, UK and Worldwide.
