We don't often see these late Spiders as nice as this one, particularly in UK supplied RHD format. A beautiful example due in no small way to the extensive amount of time and money lavished upon her by a previous owner in 2016 with £22. 5k invoice by a Sussex based restoration specialist for an engine out bare metal repaint. These late S4 Spiders are without doubt the most 'useable' version of the original 105 series based Spider, offering the easy starting whatever the weather of Bosch fuel injection coupled with power steering for easy manoeuvring and day to day driving.
The detailed invoice for the 2016 restoration details not just the 300 hours of labour, but also the numerous parts being replaced with new including the following:
1. Ring gear.
2. Complete clutch kit.
3. New engine mounts.
4. New radiator hoses.
5. Flywheel spigot bush.
6. New starter motor.
7. New clutch hose and spring arm.

At the time of the restorative work 88553 kms were recorded and she has been garage kept and used sparingly since, with just 5000 kms being covered to date. The current owner bought her on a whim in 2020 to join his 916 GTV V6 that he has owned since new. However, now retired and spending most of his summers living in Spain she isn't getting the use she deserves.
