(FINAL PRICE REDUCTION £1500 ONO OTHERWISE I KEEP IT)Very rare car, im considering keeping it now , 5 previous owners, I have owned it 12 years but cant keep up with the maintenance anymore, MOT expired April 2025. It runs and the engine is solid but it won't start at the moment I think it needs a new battery as it just makes a clicking noise when the key is turned but starts with jump cables, timing chain kit is new, HT leads new, distributor cap new, both front headlight units new, front knuckles bearings new, alloys have scuffs but no rust, only one rust bubble on front right wing bodywork, 2 rust holes in rear door sills need tidying up, has a small blow front exhaust, side skirts are missing which is bad but also good as any buyer can see how strong the actual sills are underneath, paint work is pretty impressive for age as you can see from pictures still looking black but does have marks and scuffs on closer look, all the interior headlining has come down, front drivers seat is torn up, all electric windows are sticking and drivers one is off the runners, no speakers in the car, ABS light has been on 12 years now but brakes fine, most pressing issues now are front left driveshaft which is very worn, and the offside rear brake likes to bind up after about 5 miles despite new caliper, handbrake is disconnected at the hand lever end, one front spotlight is smashed, key half snapped in ignition, new clutch cable, key fob for immobiliser is new which is good, the interior is actually pretty damn immaculate, floors, dash all pretty much mint, just the door cards roof and seats needs some love. Power ariel works, power sunroof works but leaks, electric side mirrors work, both rear tyres new but needs new fronts. The SR20DE redtop has been very well looked after she still has it and for years to come but needs someone willing to fix all these issues, its had alot done but needs more no doubt and I would rather someone buy it to revive the car and just not rip the SR engine out.
This car is one of a kind now, probably the only one for sale in UK right now its ultra rare, its a cool looking oldskool car and does turn heads, the SR20DE engine is worth the price alone let alone the rest of the car, maybe your only chance ever to own one
