The Appeal
The Honda CR-X SiR, chassis code EF8, is among the most revered lightweight sports cars of its era. Its VTEC-equipped engine, sharp handling, and featherweight construction have earned it a devoted following, and clean, well-maintained examples are increasingly difficult to find - especially the increasingly-prized Japanese Domestic Market cars that put Honda on the map.
This 1991 example was imported to Ireland in 2022 and has been in the current owner's care for approximately four years, during which time around 10,000km have been covered. It wears the Moondust Pearl finish, believed to be a rare colour exclusive to Japanese-market models, and sits on Honda Access dealer-option alloy wheels - a set of which recently fetched $2,000 at auction in their own right.
