** COMING SOON ** 1997 Rover Mini Cooper Sport S Works By John Cooper Garages. This super rare and special mini is in Almond Green which is a classic Cooper colour from the 60s. It was bought by the last owner in 1998 from John Cooper Garages on 1300 miles and converted to S Works 90 BHP spec (86 BHP rolling road report). In addition to the conversion it also has the JC brake upgrade with 4 pot alloy callipers, vented discs and alloy rear drums. John Cooper Garages also fitted adjustable Hi Lo suspension and a very nice quick shift gear lever which is lovely to use. The John Cooper / Motalita steering wheel, S Works gear knob, signed pedals and door steps were fitted plus alloy petrol cap etc. The additional cost of the conversion and extras was £3300. 00 20 years ago! I have all of the John Cooper Garages receipts, original bill of sale and signed conversion certificate. I also have the original sales brochure and price list from John Cooper Garages. Both sets of keys have the JCG fobs and the service book is stamped 9 times 6 by John Cooper Garages. The condition of the car is beyond by understanding. It looks like it has done 2000 miles but has covered 18750 miles from new. Due to this I have taken pictures on the ramp to show off the underside of the car which looks 95% factory fresh. It has covered all of its mileage in the dry and been owned by the same fanatical owner for the last 20 years. The interior is immaculate and the addition leather top dash fitted by John Cooper Garages adds to the quality feel. As soon as you open the door there is a strong leather smell and a new car smell. Driving the mini is a privilege and makes an occasion out of every trip. The upswept exhaust sounds wonderful and the response from the Works engine is addictive. To find another example of this quality and on this mileage would be very challenging as most people with a car this special will never part with it.
