The Ford Escort XR3i was the car to own back in the 1980/ 90’s. With fuel injection, alloy wheels, rear spoiler and astute product placement by the Ford Marketing Department this was the car that adorned 1, 000’s of bedroom walls all around the UK
Presented in Radiant Red with Shadow cloth trim, the best combination in my opinion, this time warp car has been in the same village all its life and owned by the second keeper since 1992. The car is completely standard with all original factory panels and as collect by the first owner, Mr David Cottingham, from Sandcliffe Garage Nottingham during June 1990
The second owner purchased the car with just 9, 550 miles on the clock. He used the car until 1998 when it was taken off the road and placed in professional storage with a mileage of just 30, 724 – testified by the MOT certificate and service book. Apart from an annual MOT test the car has not be used and or seen any rain for over 20 years
