I am selling my rover 2200 automatic as it is no longer required, it was bought while i recovered from an ankle operation. it is in lunar grey with a tan interior, the bodywork is good just a few stonechips here and there and just a bit of bubbling on side of bonnet, interior is good just a small cigarette hole in drivers seat which was done before i got it. i have spent a bit of money on it which i wont get back nameley, 4 new tyres, replaced rear de-dion tube, brake discs and pads, fuel pump. m. o. t until June 2010. now on SORN . only bad point which as just happened is the engine will wont an overhaul it loses power and wont go much faster than 55mph, not sure what it is carb, or timing or something else, so it will possibly need trailoring away, i have been told it could be the timing chains and tensioners which go slack when the engine warms up as it goes well when first started. just needs an engine overhaul possibly will make a good small project for someone.
