1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II 4. 2 Roadster with 4-speed manual gearbox. Only repatriated to the UK in 2015 and the subject of a nut and bolt restoration in the States in the early 2000's. Comes with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirming its matching numbers pedigree. Invoices for around $50000 are contained in the extensive Restoration and History File that comes with it. The displayed mileage is 2070 (read as 102070) but has covered little miles since its restoration.
As you might imagine it presents in quite lovely order throughout with marvellous coachwork and panel fit and an exceptionally good cabin. Finished in arguably the best combination of Carmen Red with black leather seats, interior and hood. Fitted with new chrome wire wheels and new mohair hood, Moto-Lita steering wheel and chrome luggage rack. A super driving example of one of Brown Lane's best.
This beautiful classic Roadster has seen little use since arriving back to these shores and has just undergone pre-sales checks, including service, engine tune, new chrome rear exhaust, Waxoyl treatment and a new MOT. Complete with original spare wire wheel and mohair hood cover.
One of the nicest driving E-Types you will find. Just reduced by £5000 and without doubt one of the most competitively priced restored Roadsters available anywhere. What's not to like!
