Porsche 911 (991) Carrera S Coupe PDK with Powerkit And Aerokit
The Porsche 911 (991) was first introduced in 2011 and was an entirely new 911 built on a brand new platform. Constructed from aluminium, high-strength steel and composite materials the weight was reduced to 1, 490 kg for the Carrera manual, just 50kg heavier than the 997 GT2. But more important for the drivers, the rear wheels have been moved 76mm backwards dramatically improving the weight distribution and balance of the car.
This particular 991 S has a 3. 8 litre Flat-6 with the ‘Powerkit’, boosting power from 400hp to 430hp, which gives the 991 a 0-62mph time of just 4. 0secs when fitted with the PDK gearbox. The extra 30bhp comes from re-designed camshafts and variable-resonance intake system and an upgraded exhaust system making it sound fantastic.
