1999 Rover Mini 1. 3 MPI in factory Old English White. This very special mini was owned by a retired lady from 1999 2010 and during this time had covered just 4800 miles. It was then sold and a vast amount of money was spent creating a very special and unique 70s styled mini. Back in the 60s / 70s the Rock & Roll stars had minis and it was in fashion for companies like Radford to fit full leather interiors and custom paint finishes to create a bespoke, high quality mini. This mini follows that theme and has had the top half painted metallic grey, colour coded wheels, wheel arches and lots of chrome details. It has an electric slide and tilt sunroof with an internal sliding cover which is beautifully made and gives a premium brand feel. The interior is such a special place to be. The supportive Napa leather seats are wonderful and Napa leather has also been used on the door cards, door pockets, top dash rail, steering column cover, gear gaiter, hand brake cover and to the edge of the Wilton carpets. It is a work of art and would cost a fortune to recreate. The key to this car is that it was an immaculate, very low mileage mini to start with and to date has still only covered 7100 miles from new. I sold the car back in 2011 and since this time it has been used as a second car and always garaged. Is has had no paintwork in the last 8 years and the body is in A1 condition. The underside has been waxoiled but you can see through it to still appreciate the time warp condition underneath. Driving this mini feels very special and it attracts many looks and positive comments. It sounds great due to a Maniflow exhaust and with the electric roof open and the windows down the fun factor is hard to beat. Replacing this unique car would be very hard due to the cost and craftsmanship that has been put into it.
