motodrome are pleased to offer this 1971 Triumph TR6, finished in Laurel Green with black mohair hood. .
This one is a genuine RHD UK CP-prefix example
Excellent provenance – the last owner had it for 18 years (and always kept it garaged, and religiously serviced despite the low miles it’s covered in his ownership)
According to the huge history file, it underwent a substantial structural and engine rebuild between 1987 and 1998, and according to the old MOT’s has covered under 4000 miles since, hence is best described as an ‘older restoration’
Odometer reading now 99500m
History wise we have a massive folder with bills back to the late 1970’s and old MOT’s back to 1980.
When rebuilt, the opportunity was taken to convert it to run on unleaded fuel.
It’s fitted with enamel wire wheels, overdrive, black mohair hood, stainless steel dual-exit exhaust system, woodrim steering wheel, inertia reel belts, oil cooler, electric fan, and electronic ignition.
It’s just come out of our workshop having had the drivetrain overhauled, including new clutch kit, gearbox mounts, diff mounts, and UJ’s.
Whilst it’s now officially MOT exempt (on application) it will be provided with a fresh MOT on sale , and 6 months warranty on sale. Obviously qualifies for historic road tax.
