An original UK supplied right hand drive 2+2 manual in primrose with black leather.
Its an older restoration that been used and now deserves some straightforward tidying. Although not looking as pretty as it should, it started immediately and drove on test really well, causing no concerns, the engine sweet and without funny noises or smoke, good oil pressure and good performance. The clutch and gearbox shifted smoothly but first took a bit of care to get down into first.
Judging by the MOT history its been kept on the road since about 2007 and the MOT records we have seen online show only minor issues addressed over the years. In fact april 2017 was its last clear pass just 600 miles ago. The underside is dirty but looks pretty solid to us.
The body could use some tidying, its a stranger to a polishing cloth, door skins are poor, the front wings and under the grille poor and dented. If you are pragmatic and dont mind a bit of work you could end up with an E type that you can enjoy, far more fun than a trailer queen and with a fraction of the investment.
