Hello and welcome to the sale of this superb Ford Sierra XR4x4. This car was registered new as a Ford dealer demonstrator in 1991 and was sold to its one and only owner the following year. It has been meticulously maintained over it's 98, 000 miles with a large and comprehensive history file which is filled with invoices and old MOTs, along with owner notes and records, and even all three different styles of V5 documents! It also comes with original manuals and two sets of keys. The metallic grey exterior is in excellent condition with no damage or rust issues, and the paint retains a deep shine. The grey cloth interior is also in wonderful condition with very little wear. It still has it's original radio / cassette deck and everything appears to work including the central locking and electric windows. The 2. 9 V6 engine starts easily and purrs through the brand new exhaust system. It will pull hard through the 5 speed manual gearbox and is still genuinely very quick off the mark! The 4x4 system gives reassuring grip even by modern standards. The brakes are good, the car tracks straight and pulls up square. The car has had a tow bar fitted from new and I think this would make a brilliant retro tow car to trailer someone's other classics to shows etc?! To sum up this is a stunning example of this once very popular but now rare model, it's condition and provenance would be hard to beat and I am sure the new owner will be delighted.
