I am writing to you to inform you of an amazing car I am in ownership of.
The car in question is an M3 E30 Convertible. The car is one of 768 ever made and one of seven in its kind in sterling Silver. The car was produced in 1991 making it 28 years old.
The car has only done 135, 000km which converted into miles is 83, 000 approximately,
The car is left hand drive which is how they were all produced. It is a dog leg five speed gear box. It has the original full leather grey Recaro heated seats.
It has an on board computer.
A fully automatic blue convertible roof with additional wind visor.
It has not been driven for 11 years but I have just spent £14, 000 on parts and labor to a classic car restorer to restore it mechanically which it is now in perfect order and I have receipts for all this.
The car also has full BMW service history.
The cars has original BBS wheels and is in perfect originality apart from an AC Shnitzer gear stick which was on the car when I purchased.
It is four cylinders, the only BMW to be produced with a four cylinder engine and approx. 200BHP
It has some minor scratches in the body work but is perfect for a collector or an investor who is willing to sit on it for ten years and accumulate a huge sum of money.
It has been professionally valued and insured at £75, 000.
I have been very attached to this car so am very keen on it going to a good home/ owner rather than someone who will devalue and ruin the car which a car of this kind does not deserve.
I am open to offers but going by the insurance value as insurers normally de value a car rather than raise the value I would be asking to around the amount above if not more.
I am sending this offer to many car collectors, car museums and enthusiasts world wide and also advertising it in many top car magazines.
This car is certain to be worth twice the amount at the very least in the coming 5-7 years bearing in mind that of the 786 ever made many will have been lost to many variey of reasons. It took me five years before I ourchased it to find it in Sterling Silver and I have never come across one since.
For some reason I have always had a vision of it in a James Bond/ Transformers kind of movie and I will also be passing the details over to top film producers.
